Welcome to the 3.0 Update!
This is Rankify's biggest update yet. Thank you for the continued support while we expanded the platform with major social and discovery features!
In 3.0, we are introducing:
- [MAJOR FEATURE] Friending support! You asked, we listened. You can now make friends on Rankify.
- Search users in the search bar and follow them.
- View your followers and who you follow on your profile page.
- [MAJOR FEATURE] A completely new Explore page, flipping the Rankify experience.
- Discover rankings from across the platform through a new recommendation feed.
- View popular albums and new platform updates.
- See the activity of your Rankify friends.
- [MAJOR FEATURE] Public profile pages allow you to view other people's rankings.
- View the activities of other users on their pages.
- Follow, unfollow, or view their followers/following.
- [MAJOR FEATURE] Custom profile pictures! Try changing it in your profile.
- A new signup completion flow with terms + age consent support.
Quality of Life:
- Logged-in users now default to the Explore page.
- Unlogged-in users now default to Global rankings on ranking pages.
- Profile rankings and ratings are now ordered by date.
- Artist page albums are now ordered by date.
- Profile UI and layout refinements across key pages.
- Lots of infrastructure improvements.
The following bugs were fixed:
- Search bar pagination persisting when switching tabs
This update was a major undertaking and marks a shift in Rankify. All the suggestions and feedback given by you all are so very much appreciated.
